Healthy Energy Bars Recipes

Since you are aware that I favor recipes that need for no more than 5 components, I am overjoyed to share with you a straightforward and wholesome recipe for energy bars, in which the only requirements are 3 basic components.

Even though bacon, Nutella, and butter are three of my very favorite ingredients, and even though I often say that bacon makes everything better, there are times when we simply have to branch out and try something new.

But I am a huge lover of fruit bars like these, and the great thing about this recipe is that you can truly substitute any type of dried fruit or nut that you desire. You may use pecans or macadamia nuts in place of peanuts, raisins in place of apricots or cranberries, or any other type of dried fruit that takes your fancy. These are all excellent replacements. In the end, you will have these delicious bars that are the ideal thing to munch on between meals.

    Ingredients

    Peanuts —

Ideally without any added salt. You can also use different kinds of nuts like almonds, pecans, and so on if you choose.

    Dates –

dates that have been dried out. They are packed with antioxidants, can help lower blood pressure, are good for maintaining a healthy blood sugar level, and contain a cognitive enhancer. All of these things contribute to its incredible health benefits. Why on earth wouldn’t we consume these?

    The Apricot:

We require dried apricots at this time. These are also beneficial to us since they assist in the development of our immune system.

The Process of Making Energy Bars

Put the nuts, dates, and dried apricots in the bowl of a food processor. Simply give them a few pulses to separate them into smaller pieces. If the dates begin to cluster together, you will need to separate them.

When necessary, scrape the edges of the bowl and continue mixing the ingredients for another one to two minutes, or until the mixture begins to clump together and form a ball.

Place a piece of parchment paper that is roughly the size of a baking sheet on the surface of your work surface. Applying pressure with your hands, shape the dough into a thick square of approximately 8 inches by 8 inches. To achieve a good and even texture, rolling it out with a rolling pin was a simple and quick process for me. Plastic wrap it, and place it in the refrigerator for at least an hour, or even overnight.

To prepare the power bar dough, remove the plastic wrap and place it on a cutting board. Depending on your preference, cut into either eight broad bars or sixteen small squares. Wrap each bar in a piece of wax paper or plastic wrap.
