Austin hotel opens champagne & caviar bar

Today, September 16, the Fairmont in downtown Austin debuted a champagne & caviar bar. 

Room 725 serves champagne by the bottle, glass, & flight; French 75s, martinis, & old fashioneds; caviar a la carte with foie gras. 

Confit potatoes, & lobster claws; and vegan caviar. cigars Fridays & Saturdays 6-11 p.m. Book online. 

MLK kolache/beer/brewery As part of its fifth birthday, Batch is launching a new food truck. 

Lote will serve mini-tortas, burritos with picadillo, tacos, machos, & mulitas. Spanish for "batch" Chef Javier Montesinos recently worked at Taco Bronco. 

For its anniversary, there will be beers, live music, and a petting zoo from September 16-18. 

Cidery This month, Texas Keeper Cider launched winemaking-inspired bottles. Rubus Forager 2021 is prepared using Texas apples & foraged dewberries; NV Heirloom uses 2020 & 2021 harvests.
