Capri Sun beverages were recalled
According to a statement released by the business on Friday, Kraft Heinz has recalled.
More than 5,700 cases of Wild Cherry Capri Sun drinks because they may have been tainted with cleaning solution.
The recall includes all products that have a "best when used by" date that is on or after June 25th, 2023.
The drinks were mistakenly mixed with a diluted cleaning solution that was being used on processing equipment at one of the company's factories.
The company announced the voluntary recall after the mishap occurred.
According to the statement released by the company, "the issue was discovered after we received many consumer complaints regarding the flavour of the impacted product."
The statement went on to say that customers who had purchased the beverage should not consume it.
According to Kraft Heinz, customers may return the products to the stores from which they were originally purchased.
According to a statement sent by the corporation, "The company is actively working with retail partners & distributors to remove potentially contaminated items from circulation."
Customers who are unsure whether or not the batch they purchased was impacted should contact Kraft Heinz at 280-8252.
