According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, pigs belong to the animal order. 

As a result, it is possible to milk a pig. 

On Pasture was able to get its hands on a letter that was written by the Illinois Pork Producers Association. 

In the letter, it is stated that the percentage of fat found in pig milk is 8.5%, which is significantly higher than the percentage of fat found in cow milk, which is 3.5%. 

Pig milk would most likely be wonderful if only for the fact that humans enjoy the higher fat content found in dairy products. 

A Dutch farmer by the name of Erik Stegink made the decision to capitalise on the chance & make cheese out of it. 

During their conversation, he explained to Vice that his pig cheese is more salty & creamy than cow cheese.
