The pelvic floor muscles support the uterus, bladder, small intestine, & rectum. 

Kegel exercises are also called pelvic floor muscle training. 

Start by understanding what Kegel exercises can do for you, then follow these instructions. 

Pregnancy, childbirth, surgery, ageing, constipation, chronic coughing, & overweight can weaken pelvic floor muscles. 

If you leak urine when sneezing, laughing, or coughing, Kegel exercises may help. 

Urge incontinence is a strong, sudden urge to urinate followed by urine loss. Defecation leakage. 

Kegel exercises can help during pregnancy & after childbirth. Women who sneeze, cough, or laugh heavily should not do Kegel exercises.
